Microneedling is based on using tiny needles to create microchannels that allow specially formulated serums to be absorbed into your skin. An excellent treatment for someone wanting to improve their skin texture, fine lines, and wrinkles. The therapy achieves results quickly and is perfect for busy people on the go!
How does Microneedling work?
First, specially designed Microneedling equipment makes hundreds of microscopic channels in your skin (tiny holes.) Then, a serum to reduce wrinkles and treat acne or a variety of other skin conditions is applied. The serum is quickly absorbed and starts working immediately.
How long does Microneedling take?
Micro-needling can be completed in about 45 minutes, and you’ll experience little downtime.
Stop any retinoid or exfoliating products 5 days prior. In addition, we do recommend that you stop any non-prescribed blood thinners and fish oil prior to your treatment, as this may cause unnecessary bruising. For the clients that are concerned about bruising we also recommend Arnica Montana tablets 5 days prior to treatment.
Do not use any retinoid or exfoliating products 5 days after. Please note there are at home skincare products that our staff may recommend to assist with other concerns or enhance your results.
